Parable of the Sower

This is the visual aids that I set up for this lesson. I used 4 Ziploc plastic containers and I added dirt in each. The first was dirt with a lot of clay, and I made it hard on top. I added seeds the biggest seeds on top that I could find and found the small blackbirds at Michaels. For the second visual, I added rocks and artificial flower stems w/o the flowers. The third one had straw-like vines and thorns (which I will add real ones the morning before class from a rose bush). The last visual had the good ground and I used a healthy house plant, or you can use the container with dirt that they can run their fingers through and green artificial/real healthy plants.

Preschool Alphabet: A is for Areopagus in Athens

These preschool Bible lessons are created and used at home, so there are some basic preschool learning skills printables added to each post. The Bible lesson and Bible printables are suitable for home or Bible class use. As of this post, we have covered most of the alphabet, but now little sister is learning her preschool skills! So, I am starting over with the alphabet, and adding preschool lessons that are not posted here yet, and plan to add as much from the book of Acts that I can. This week's lesson is about Paul and he teaches about the Unknown God.

Parable of Build Your House on The Rock & Be A Light

http://kidsbibledebjackson.blogspot.com/
I use this visual to represent the house on the sand and the rock. I push the house on the sand down into it so it looks like it is falling down. You just can't push the house on the rock! Even if you decide to use a pile of rocks, the house will still stand.

Teen Tuesday: Teen Girls Day & Service

Who typically serves at your church? Is it a certain generation, a certain gender, or maybe just the same people do it all? These are common problems that I have seen as I have grown up and went to different congregations. As a teenager, I was never sure exactly of all of the service opportunities in the church and why people serve to begin with...

Lazarus Lives Again!

Today's lesson is about Lazarus and I shifted this lesson so I could keep the miracles of Jesus together. They will finish their lapbooks and take them home, then we will begin the parables lapbook. I have the parables of Jesus together also.

Bulletin Boards!

http://kidsbibledebjackson.blogspot.com/
I have been changing a lot of bulletin boards after VBS! I feel like I have done a couple hundred, but no, it hasn't been that many! I usually have some sort of theme for each bulletin board post, but this one has too many different ones! Some of these bulletin boards will have the printables for you to download, some will be partial and a couple are just for ideas and do not have any printables.

Teen Tuesday: Teen Girls Day Part 1

There will be several posts written about a Teen Girls Day that my daughter planned and wrote the curriculum for. The girls were divided into groups and attended four different classes. There was a craft time and lunch was served.
We will have a post on each class lesson and ideas with pictures.  This post is the intro and written by my daughter.

Creation Lapbook, File Folder Game, & More!

I found new Creation graphics at Educlips and I couldn't stop making things for this lesson, so I put them all here in one post! I used them with a Creation post that you will see soon, but as I was getting everything ready, it was just too much for one post!
